The Guangtang Sci-Tech Innovation City, a landmark innovation facility in Tianhe, has entered a key phase of project implementation, industrial concentration and ecosystem formation.

Following the recent groundbreaking of the flagship project at Guangtang Sci-Tech Innovation Center, the Guangtang Sci-Tech Innovation City Industrial Operation was inaugurated, and a number of leading tech companies have chosen to establish their presence in the innovation city.

Embedded within an innovation ecosystem since its inception, the sci-tech city connects 33 universities, 186 research platforms, and draws on abundant tech talent. Tianhe district features over 1,000 artificial intelligence companies, covering the entire industrial chain from core algorithms to system integration.

Key platforms like embodied intelligence training grounds and shared factories are being strategically established, ensuring enterprises have access to advanced equipment and facilities. A complete innovation chain from research to application is taking shape.

XPeng Technology is expanding its presence by acquiring land to build Phase II of its Technology Park, focusing on smart vehicles and robotics. Earlier this year, XPeng started constructing a humanoid robot production facility, which is expected to be operational by the end of the year.
