As one of China's leading domestic natural uranium enterprises, China Uranium is backed by CNNC, the country's sole mega central SOE boasting a full industrial chain of nuclear science and technology industries. CNNC Overseas Holdings Company oversees the group's domestic and overseas mine operations, striving to build a complete natural uranium industrial cluster covering natural uranium mining and sales, international trade, supply chain management, technological R&D and professional consulting. Drawing on resources from the Guangzhou Futures Exchange, the company will explore ways to strengthen Guangzhou's capacity in allocating bulk commodities including natural uranium.
Upon completion, the project is forecast to generate more than 10 billion yuan ($1.48 billion) in investment and operating revenue during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–30), providing strong momentum for Tianhe's development of strategic emerging industries and efforts to attract more corporate headquarters.
Tianhe has yielded strong results in opening-up and investment promotion this year. A series of of high-caliber landmark projects have been established in the district, including Google Cross-border E-commerce Acceleration Center, South International Center, and Intuitive-Fosun Greater Bay Area Headquarters. The UAE International Investment Summit — China (Guangdong) Industrial Investment Matchmaking Session was held to strengthen two-way investment ties by attracting foreign investment and supporting local companies' overseas expansion, while further raising the district's international profile.
