The golf competition of the 17th Guangdong Provincial Games concluded from July 17 to 19, 2026. Young golfers representing the Guangzhou Team, trained and recommended by the Children's Amateur Sports School in Tianhe district, fought hard and claimed multiple team and individual honors.

The golf events saw fierce competition, bringing together 98 young athletes from 12 prefecture-level cities across Guangdong. The Guangzhou Team fielded 13 competitors covering all eight categories, capturing six golds, two silvers and one bronze. The team also received the Sportsmanship Award, achieving outstanding results both on and off the course.

Wang Xinyu claimed individual and team gold medals in the Girls' Group A. Liu Wenyi finished fifth in the Girls' Group A individual event and secured the Girls' Group A team gold. Zhao Haoshen took sixth place in the Boys' Group B individual competition and won silver in the Boys' Group A team contest.
