XSE Pro League 2026, a flagship Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament hosted by Xinsai Esports, has drawn to a close at the Gymnasium Complex of South China Agricultural University in Tianhe, marking a milestone for local esports development.

In the thrilling final, Argentina's 9z team swept Russia's PARIVISION (PV) in a crushing 3-0 shutout, securing their first Tier 1 international offline championship and a prize of $260,000. Chilean player HUASOPEEK was named MVP of the tournament.

The event is the first Tier 1 CS tournament hosted in Guangzhou. Boasting ample space and premium audiovisual gear, the venue, which specializes in staging large-scale gatherings, offered an ideal arena for premier esports contests.

XSE Pro League 2026 chose Guangzhou's Tianhe district as the host venue because of its thriving esports industry and comprehensive support policies.

According to Xinsai Esports, the event organizer, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is an ideal destination for international esports events thanks to its large fan base, strong market potential, and favorable policies.

Tianhe district is a powerhouse in gaming, with the revenue of its game industry accounting for 33.8 percent of the national total, further solidifying its status as a key hub for esports.
