Three kindergartens in Guangzhou's Tianhe district and three schools in Macao Special Administrative Region have established sister-school partnerships. A signing ceremony was held at a kindergarten in Tianhe on June 26.

The partnerships are expected to strengthen exchanges in curriculum design, teacher training, and cultural activities between the two cities.

During the ceremony, Xiao Baoluan, deputy director of Tianhe District Education Bureau, emphasized that building the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a major national strategy. The sister-school partnerships are a practical step toward turning the region into an education and talent hub, Xiao added.

Xiao expressed the hope that the three sister-school pairs will work together to enhance teaching quality through curriculum development, foster talent through teachers' training, and create a model of collaborative development in preschool education in the Greater Bay Area.

Representatives from both sides pledged to draw on each other's strengths and establish a long-term framework for ongoing cooperation.

The partnership is part of Tianhe's broader efforts to deepen educational cooperation within the Greater Bay Area. The sister schools will share resources and strengthen cultural ties, aiming to nurture future generations with a sense of national pride and a global outlook.
