With over 25,000 enterprises, it boasts 13 national-level "little giant" enterprises (referring to specialized and innovative SMEs) and seven unicorn companies, accounting for nearly 30 percent of the district's total. Industry giants such as NetEase, Beiming Software, PCI Technology, and others have established a strong presence here. Supported by top-tier industrial clusters such as Hongtai Wisdom Valley, Times Guangzhou E-PARK, and PCI Future Community, Xintang has built a full-cycle incubation ecosystem.

In recent years, Xintang has been spearheading future-oriented strategic sectors, focusing on the digital economy, artificial intelligence, the low-altitude economy, and embodied intelligence. This year, Xintang has excelled in economic development, urban renewal, and improvements in people's livelihoods, achieving stable economic growth and stronger governance. Notably, in the first quarter, its GDP and industry value-added growth rates were the highest in the district, showcasing robust economic momentum.
