Tianhe's new children's palace set to open in September
The new Tianhe Children's Palace, a striking architectural landmark resembling a "sail" in Tianhe's International Financial City, is set to open in September, offering capacity for 169 classes and over 4,000 students.
The palace boasts a prime location with convenient access via Flower City Avenue and Linjiang Avenue. Spanning a total area of 8,774 square meters and a construction area of 38,652 sq m, it offers stunning river views and excellent transport links.
The new facility will complement the existing Longkou West Children's Palace, expanding the floor area nearly eightfold. It is designed as a multi-dimensional educational ecosystem with eight functional zones that integrate arts, technology, sports, and community service. Highlights include a 660-seat professional theater, a multifunctional science and art zone, and a sports complex.
Tianhe Children's Palace also features a public welfare center, rehearsal and exhibition spaces, and ample parking with nearly 400 spaces to facilitate parents' pick-up and drop-off. This state-of-the-art facility promises to be a vibrant hub for learning and creativity, where education extends beyond traditional classrooms into every corner of this dynamic space.
