The Youth Entrepreneurs Association of Tianhe District has launched an artificial intelligence alliance, with founding members including tech giants such as NetEase, Beiming Software, and PCI-Suntek Technology, alongside higher education institutions like South China Normal University and Guangdong University of Technology.

As Guangzhou's economic powerhouse and software industry hub, Tianhe boasts the city's largest number of AI enterprises and the most extensive AI applications.

Xie Guanpeng, chairman of JianZhi Technology and president of the Youth Entrepreneurs Association of Tianhe District, said that the AI alliance will serve as "a connector, an accelerator and a coordinator" to link government, leading enterprises, capital and academia to create a cost-effective, efficient service ecosystem for small and medium-sized enterprises transitioning to AI-driven development, propelling Tianhe to position itself as a national AI integration and innovation demonstration zone.

As the first district-level AI alliance in Guangzhou, the alliance will build a five-in-one AI empowerment system through technology sharing, scenario co-building, talent cultivation, and capital support.

Liu Ying, executive president of the Youth Entrepreneurs Association of Tianhe District, emphasized lowering the threshold and costs for SMEs to embrace AI, enabling them to excel in niche markets.

Tianhe's AI industry scale reached 56 billion yuan ($8.2 billion) in 2025, aiming for 62 billion yuan in 2026.
