The Guangdong Olympic Sports Center in Tianhe will host the 2026 National Diving Championships, the first national diving event following the 15th National Games, from May 23 to 29.

Around 220 diving athletes from provincial teams across the nation will gather in Guangzhou for the seven-day competition, offering a spectacular showcase of strength and grace above the water.

This championship aims to promote the exchange and integration of training methods among provinces, further advancing the selection and development of China's diving talents.

The competition will feature seven events: men's and women's 1-meter springboard, 3-meter springboard, 10-meter platform, individual all-around, synchronized 3-meter springboard, synchronized 10-meter platform, and team events.

Additionally, three mixed events — mixed synchronized 3-meter springboard, mixed synchronized 10-meter platform, and mixed team — will be held, with a total of 17 gold medals up for grabs.

The Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Swimming and Diving Hall, the main site for the 2010 Asian Games and the 2025 National Games' diving events, has been extensively renovated. The venue now boasts an intelligent lighting control system and an upgraded water treatment system, ensuring clear water and fresh air, while providing an international-standard competition environment for athletes and a comfortable viewing experience for spectators.
