Tianhe to host coffee culture fair during May Day holiday

The 2026 Guangzhou Coffee Culture Fair is set to take place at the Tianhe Sports Center South Plaza during the May Day holiday, spanning from May 1 to 5. The event promises to bring together coffee lovers and visitors from around the world on a sensory journey through global coffee flavors.

Participating brands hail from 11 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Malaysia, Canada, Romania, Sweden, Ireland and Spain, as well as various regions across China.

Notable international participants include the UK's Cafen, known for its minimalist and scientific- driven roasting techniques; Germany's Five Elephant, a pioneer of the third-wave coffee movement;  Manhattan Coffee Roasters from the Netherlands, renowned for its bold flavors and innovative fermentation techniques; Belgium's MOK Coffee, a leader in precision roasting; and Canada's Pirates of Coffee, known for its vibrant light-medium roasts.

In addition to providing a glimpse into global coffee culture, the fair is set to feature professional competitions and youth innovation stages, highlighting craftsmanship and creativity within the industry. Visitors can also enjoy the dynamic fusion of music, sports and fashion, reflecting Guangzhou's lively urban pulse.
