Tianhe sci-tech park accelerates growth in low-altitude economy
The Tianhe Science and Technology Park, a leading hub for the low-altitude economy in Tianhe district, Guangzhou, is thriving with a robust and comprehensive low-altitude industry ecosystem covering R&D, manufacturing, operations, and services.
Home to industry leaders like EHang and Aridge, the park boasts 40 specialized enterprises engaging in the low-altitude economy. In 2025, it achieved a revenue of more than 3.7 billion yuan ($541 million). In the first two months of this year, its revenue reached 230 million yuan, up 20 percent year-on-year.
The park's management committee held a symposium attended by eight key enterprises of low-altitude economy on April 16 to explore strategies for the sector's high-quality development. Discussions focused on expanding low-altitude scenarios and analyzing industry trends, aiming to enhance enterprise services and foster government-enterprise collaboration.
The park is actively attracting new enterprises, with five companies recently establishing a presence. Utilizing platforms like the Guangtang Sci-Tech Innovation City and the 2112 Industrial Park, the Tianhe Science and Technology Park is expanding its capabilities across the low-altitude economy's value chain, from core components to service industries.
The park plans to enhance infrastructure, strengthen industry collaboration, expand application scenarios, and integrate the low-altitude economy into the modern industrial system, according to Huang Huanbao, the park's Party secretary.
