The first OPC (One Person Company) Hong Kong-Macao Service Community has been unveiled at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base in Tianhe district, Guangzhou.

The base, now upgraded into an intelligent computing park, capitalizes on Tianhe's strong industrial agglomeration, innovation ecosystem and policy support. It has also established partnerships with leading local enterprises.

This community is designed as a key component of Guangdong's "1+12+N" youth innovation and entrepreneurship incubation system, under which "1" refers to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator, "12" refers to the twelve key incubators in the Pearl River Delta and "N" refers to the various distinctive incubators spread across Guangdong.

The community strengthens the integration of Hong Kong and Macao resources, offering a tailored service ecosystem for OPC entrepreneurs. Services span the entire startup journey, from policy interpretation and funding to technical support, office space and cross-border collaboration.

Notably, the initiative provides "seven free of charge" benefits, including rent, utilities and network fees, lowering entry barriers and startup costs by a substantial margin.

The base is equipped with extensive facilities, including experimental platforms, fitness centers, dining options and residential spaces. It also boasts a network of 280 expert advisors, 25 professional service agencies and 51 investment firms.

To date, 445 projects have been launched, 393 of which come from Hong Kong and Macao, cementing its status as a top destination for young entrepreneurs in the Greater Bay Area.
