The spring national finals of the 2026 J Open Championships concluded in Tianhe on March 21. The 2025 Guangzhou Gaming Industry Development Report was released at the same time, revealing that Guangzhou's gaming industry generated more than 153 billion yuan ($22 billion) in 2025, capturing 42.8 percent of the national market.

Central to this success is the 11-kilometer Keyun Road in Tianhe district, known as "China's No.1 Game Street", with an annual output exceeding 50 billion yuan, and the International Financial City, where major gaming firms like Tanwan Games and Eworld are based.

Launched in January, the Guangzhou Game Industry Service Center is located in the Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park, less than five kilometers from Keyun Road. The center embodies the synergy between Keyun Road and the International Financial City, hosting over 200 digital cultural enterprises, including Kugou Music and Lizhi.

This integration underscores the fusion of traditional and modern digital culture, marking Guangzhou's rise as a gaming powerhouse that seamlessly blends capital and technology.
