How to reach Tianhe from Guangzhou Baiyun airport T1

Metro:

The metro is the easiest way to get to Tianhe from Terminal 1. Inside the terminal, follow the signs to Airport South Station and take Metro Line 3 north extension towards Tiyu Xilu. The trip to Guangzhou East Railway Station or Tiyu Xilu takes 35 to 40 minutes and costs between seven and eight yuan (approximately $1). Trains operate from 6:02 am to 11:16 pm, running every five to 10 minutes.

Intercity train:
To take an intercity train, head to Baiyun Airport South Station for a direct 44-minute ride to Keyun Road Station. Tickets are priced at 21 yuan, and trains run every 15 minutes from 6:41 am to 9:56 pm. You can purchase tickets through the Intercity Travel Assistant WeChat account or on the 12306 platform.

Airport bus:
For night travel, airport buses are available from stands B10 to B12 outside the Terminal 1 B arrival area. The downtown Line 2 bus goes to Tianhe Sports Center Station, Fengxing Plaza Station or South China Normal University and Jinan University bus stop. The fare is 35 yuan, with departures from 11:30 pm to 5:30 am every 20 to 60 minutes. Buses to Tancun Station leave at 12:25 am and 1:05 am, also costing 35 yuan each.

Ride-hailing and taxis:
For ride-hailing services, pick-up points are located at P1 and P2 parking lots in arrival area A, as well as on the second floor of the eastern side of P4 parking lot. In the arrival area B, pick-up options include the P2 parking lot and the first floor of the P4 parking lot's western side. Taxis are available outside Gate A9 in area A, and the former P5 parking lot in area B. Fares to Tianhe Sports Center typically range from 80 to 120 yuan.
