Tianhe students welcome new term with old traditions and new tech
Schools across Tianhe district welcomed students back for the spring semester on March 2 with a vibrant blend of technology and traditional culture.
At many schools, the opening-day ceremonies featured humanoid robots and robotic dogs performing alongside dancers, while lion dances added a strong traditional touch. The striking contrast between cutting-edge technology and time-honored cultural performances wowed all teachers and students present.

Elements of the Year of the Horse added extra joy to the occasion. Pony mascots welcomed students, and many pupils lined up to strike the Wisdom-Enlightenment Gong (a traditional Chinese percussion instrument), a symbol of wishing for a brilliant start to the new term.
