On Feb 25, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Embodied Intelligence Industrial Park was held at the Guangtang Sci-tech Innovation City in Tianhe, marking the establishment of Guangzhou's first full-chain humanoid robot mass production base.

The move signifies a crucial step forward in the district's efforts to develop future industries and commercialize embodied intelligence technologies.

During the ceremony, the Tianhe district people's government and XPeng Motors signed a strategic framework cooperation agreement to jointly advance the embodied intelligence industry in Tianhe, giving a strong boost to Guangzhou's efforts to tap into emerging industries and cultivate new growth drivers.

The Guangtang Sci-Tech Innovation City Embodied Intelligence Industrial Park will have a total floor area of around 110,000 square meters. Designed to meet high-standard industrial requirements, the park will feature optimized configurations in power supply, load capacity, ceiling height, and environmental controls—fully supporting the spatial needs of embodied intelligence enterprises across R&D, pilot production, and mass manufacturing stages.

The first phase will include high-standard manufacturing facilities, power stations, and supporting infrastructure, providing essential support for XPeng Motors' humanoid robot industrialization efforts.

As a leading economic and technological hub in Guangzhou, Tianhe is home to the largest concentration of AI enterprises and application scenarios in the city. The district remains committed to fostering emerging and future industries, positioning itself at the forefront of next-generation industrial development.
