Tianhe has released the third edition of its official "Food in Guangzhou" star-rated restaurant list, featuring 20 venues rated three to five stars.

To promote the featured restaurants, the district has introduced three themed gourmet routes focusing on time-honored brands, innovative Cantonese cuisine and diverse international flavors.

Route 1: Time-honored traditions

This route brings together three of Guangzhou's most iconic establishments. Tao Tao Ju (Yayuan Branch), a Michelin-selected venue for five consecutive years, serves signature har gow and roast goose within Lingnan-style surroundings. Guangzhou Restaurant (Linjiang Avenue Branch), combines views of the Pearl River and Canton Tower with classics like roast goose and char siu, living up to its reputation as a flagship of Cantonese cuisine. Dian Dou De (Huacheng Branch) offers all-day dim sum, including steamed red rice rolls and sampan congee, delivering authentic local life vibes.

Route 2: Contemporary Cantonese

The second route showcases creative modern Cantonese cuisine. Bingsheng Mansion offers innovative dishes such as steamed snow crab with yellow pepper sauce. MUKMEEM is known for its signature Smoked Taiye Chicken and honey-glazed barbecued pork, integrating modern aesthetics with traditional techniques. Dagefan specializes in roasted pigeon and fragrant pigeon-infused rice.

Route 3: International flavors

The third route reflects Guangzhou's diverse food culture. Silk Road Feast Xinjiang Restaurant introduces Xinjiang flavors, including da pan ji (big plate chicken) and roasted lamb chops. Latin Restaurant brings Brazilian barbecue to Tianhe, featuring grilled beef cuts and buffet options.
