Guangzhou's Bai'e Tan will host a fireworks show on the evening of Feb 17, the first day of the Spring Festival. The 45-minute event at Bai'e Tan combines fireworks and drone displays to celebrate the Year of the Horse.

Featuring 75 new eco-friendly fireworks varieties, this year's show launches over 150,000 shells at low, medium and high altitudes, including nearly 2,000 more high-altitude fireworks than last year.

Prime viewing spots along the Pearl River, including waterfront platforms and gourmet cruise ships, will offer stunning views of the display.
