Designed to boost regional cultural prosperity and strengthen the city's cultural influence, the carnival is the first flagship project resulting from a strategic partnership between two major state-owned enterprises in Tianhe: Guangzhou High-Tech Investment Group and Guangzhou Cultural Development Group.
The opening day saw high attendance and vibrant activities, quickly establishing the carnival as a new cultural tourism hotspot in Guangzhou.
Key attractions included the "Dawan (Greater Bay) Chicken", the cheerful mascots representing the Greater Bay Area, and 22 charming characters interacting with visitors. The park's design, featuring a 10-meter Dawan Chicken inflatable, a 6-meter photo wall, and a National Games cultural display area, blends local characteristics with festive themes.
