A Spring Festival fair organized by Tianhe district opens at the southern square of the Guangzhou East Station transportation hub and runs through Feb 4. The event offers a range of Chinese New Year activities, including themed shopping, cultural displays, and live performances.

The fair features multiple zones dedicated to seasonal goods, local foods, and traditional crafts. Daily programming includes lion dances, traditional hanfu (traditional costume) processions featuring fish lanterns, Journey to the West-themed acts, and live music. An on-site holiday market will also be available, selling festive flowers, decorations, and cultural products.
