Following the completion of its legacy residential clearance in July 2025, Xiancun subdistrict in Guangzhou's Tianhe district is implementing a multifaceted vitalization strategy under Guangdong province's "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project".

This comprehensive approach extends beyond physical redevelopment to foster sustained economic and cultural vitality.

Economically, the subdistrict has strengthened its business ecosystem through reformed services and targeted support. This is reflected in the growth of over 1,500 major enterprises that are tracked as key economic contributors in official statistics, along with a concentration of corporate headquarters. These businesses span critical sectors from industry and construction to commerce and services.

Complementing this, urban spaces are being upgraded to attract innovation-driven industries, while cultural initiatives centered on traditions such as the southern lion dance are strengthening community identity. A dedicated gallery showcasing this art form and public events, like the recent "Shi Chao" (Lion Dance Super League) Carnival, exemplify this integrated focus.
