Tianhe district is developing a pilot software talent community in Keyun, aligning with Guangzhou's focus on cultivating key industry talent. The project aims to create an integrated cluster that combines workspace and residential functions.

The Keyun community is currently home to over 1,700 software enterprises, including industry leaders like NetEase, KuGou, and UC. In 2024, the community's software sector generated over 50 billion yuan ($7.12 billion) in revenue. It has attracted approximately 35,000 industry professionals and supports more than 80 key talents at various levels.

Community infrastructure upgrades have been implemented to support this live-work environment, including renovations to the water supply network and the installation of electric vehicle charging points.

Tianhe's approach blends strategic planning with community input, aiming to integrate workspaces with residential areas and balance historical character with modern development. Leveraging municipal special funds, Tianhe has also launched enhancement projects for the "Keyun Road spirit" cluster, fostering a more attractive local environment for businesses and residents.
