The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the seventh group of national "little giant" enterprises, with eight companies from Tianhe Science and Technology Park making the list.

These firms specialize in smart manufacturing, software and information technology, and cybersecurity. The park's total number of national "little giants" now stands at 24, a record high and a 33.33 percent year-on-year increase, reinforcing its role as a key driver of regional growth and innovation.

The park's new "little giants" account for 53 percent of the district's total new additions. Most new firms operate in smart manufacturing and software, highlighting the park's focus on high-end, intelligent industries.

These "little giants" are leading small and medium enterprises that focus on niche sectors and address industry challenges. For example, new lister EHang has become the world's first unmanned passenger aircraft maker to receive type and standard airworthiness certificates.

The park has now cultivated 433 specialized SMEs at or above the provincial level. This achievement stems from the park's tailored support system, which includes a dynamic enterprise database and customized financial services, providing strong policy, funding, and technical support for tech firms and fueling high-quality development.
