During the 15th National Games, Zhong Delun, a dragon boat champion from Liede village, led a tour of the ancient settlement. The Liede Ancestral Halls serve as the spiritual and social heart of the village. These buildings act not only as places for ancestral worship but also as key gathering spots for community events like wedding banquets and celebrations, maintaining the emotional connections and shared memories of the residents.

Lion dance traditions, preserved here for centuries, feature vibrant red and gold lions moving to powerful drumbeats. This practice symbolizes good luck and reflects the brave, pioneering spirit of the Liede community. Meanwhile, the annual dragon boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival inspire passionate participation from the entire village and draw visitors from across the country, reinforcing its status as the most important and lively event on the village's calendar.
