On Nov 14, the "Global Business Districts Attractiveness Report 2025" was released. The Tianhe Central Business District (CBD) made its debut in the ranking, securing the 22nd position globally and ranking among the top 4 in China, demonstrating its global competitiveness and recognition.

The report, prepared by a team from Ernst & Young and the Urban Land Institute, assessed 30 leading CBDs across 19 countries and regions based on a benchmark evaluation system covering eight categories: talent, market proximity, influence, external conditions, office space, consumer vitality, and innovation and sustainability.

Tianhe CBD performed strongly across multiple indicators, including talent attraction, industry-city integration, and its innovation ecosystem.

A standout feature is its 1:6 ratio of residents to employed population, enhancing district vitality and talent retention. Through strategic planning, Tianhe CBD seamlessly integrates 520,000 square meters of sports centers, 300,000 sq m of world-class cultural facilities, and 124 Grade A office buildings, creating a complete ecosystem where people can work, live, and have fun in the CBD.

As a key node in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Tianhe CBD has attracted numerous regional headquarters of multinational corporations, financial institutions, and tech giants, establishing itself as a commercial trade and decision-making hub connecting South China and radiating influence globally.
