2025 Guangzhou Intl Light Festival to kick off in Tianhe
The 2025 Guangzhou International Light Festival is set to run from Nov 16 to 26, with its main venues located at Huacheng Square and Haixinsha Asian Games Park in Tianhe district.

A total of 36 light art installations will be displayed, with additional exhibits extending to both sides of the Pearl River and key locations in Huangpu district.
Under the theme "Intelligent Bay Area, Joyful National Games", this year's festival integrates technological applications with elements from the 15th National Games. It features large-scale immersive light displays, AIGC technology, and interactive projections to enhance engagement. A synchronized light show involving the Canton Tower, East Tower, and West Tower will premiere at the opening ceremony.

This year, the festival partners with the Guangzhou Garden Expo and coincides with the 15th National Games. It will offer a continuous series of attractions, from daytime garden tours to evening light displays, all set against the energetic backdrop of the National Games. The program includes thirty performances, including acrobatics, dance, and magic shows, hosted in interactive zones at Haixinsha and Huacheng Square to provide an engaging experience.
Registration for the public opens on Nov 10 at 12 pm. Visitors can make reservations through the official WeChat account of "Guangzhou International Light Festival" (WeChat account: cantonlight).
