Tianhe district in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, is now the city's economic engine, working towards becoming a world-class metropolis, a center for the digital economy, and a base for corporate headquarters.

From January to August, Tianhe saw the establishment of over 157,000 new enterprises, marking a 125.6 percent increase compared to the previous year. The total enterprise count has historically surpassed 700,000, with an average of more than 900 new registrations each day. These strong numbers highlight the district's robust growth trend, demonstrating Tianhe's economic vitality and resilience.

Among them, the Cold Chain Smart Industrial Park project, led by China Communications Construction (CCCC), was launched in Tianhe in June. It aims to invest approximately 1.5 billion yuan ($210 million) to develop a 250,000-square-meter intelligent industrial park, injecting strong momentum into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s efforts to create a modern and smart logistics system.

Prioritizing technological innovation, the district is focusing on developing seven key areas, which include the Tianhe Central Business District, Guangzhou International Financial City, Tianhe Smart City, and Tianhe Intelligence Valley.

Tianhe offers extensive support for major industries through funding, talent, and technology, investing over 1 billion yuan each year to drive industrial growth. This year, the district introduced 11 new investment promotion measures and policies covering nine sectors to assist businesses in lowering costs and boosting efficiency.

It is also working to promote the growth of the digital economy, actively establish a nationally influential low-altitude industry cluster, and vigorously advance artificial intelligence development.
