Kashi Intl Coffee Festival to be staged in Tianhe

The 7th Kashi International Coffee Festival is set to take place from Sept 5 to 7 at the Haixinsha Asian Games Park in Guangzhou's Tianhe district.

This year's festival will feature over 190 varieties of coffee, lifestyle, and cultural brands from 11 countries and 34 cities and regions across China.

A themed bar dedicated to hand-brewed coffee will be featured, with 19 baristas taking turns over the three days. The baristas range from industry newcomers to award-winning professionals, bringing with them a variety of prized beans.

A highlight is the inaugural Visually Impaired Barista Skills Competition in Guangdong, with a view to showcasing the professional skills of visually impaired baristas and highlighting their spirit of overcoming challenges and striving for excellence.

The cultural creative area will gather over 20 urban lifestyle brands, featuring original clothing, art peripherals, photography, and handicrafts, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the simple pleasures of life while sipping coffee.

The immersive musical Apollonia will make a surprise appearance at the festival.

In the co-creative exhibition area, various coffee shops and art teams will collaborate to present unique visual expressions and playful coffee brewing interactions, allowing every visitor to experience the joy of coffee.
