Leveraging the rich resources of the South China National Botanical Garden, the competition featured three categories – individual, parent-child, and team – with 13 competitive events designed to assess young participants' outdoor skills and overall competence comprehensively.

A highlight of the competition was the 5-kilometer cross-country race, which included 10 outdoor skill challenges, such as rock climbing, slacklining, obstacle crossing, rope net climbing, river crossing by rope, knot application, swamp traversal, bare-handed fishing, trust-based obstacle navigation, and direction recognition. These challenges posed significant challenges for both parents and children.

The "Camping China" event took full advantage of the botanical garden's unique ecological attributes, integrating the vitality of sports into the natural environment.

Tianhe district's successful bid to host this prestigious national event aims to establish itself as a high-quality outdoor sports destination with nationwide appeal.

The event's location in the South China National Botanical Garden is of great significance. It provides an excellent platform for youth in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to connect with nature and engage in outdoor activities.
