Tianhe Intelligence Valley secures land approval
The Guangtang area in the Tianhe Intelligence Valley – the high-tech innovation zone located in Tianhe district of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province – is moving forward briskly with its development.
It recently obtained approval for 28 hectares of government reserve land, in a process conducted with what was viewed as notable efficiency.
As a core development zone for Tianhe Intelligence Valley's construction as a sci-tech innovation hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Guangtang area also aims to serve as a strategic node along the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Corridor.
Its development is expected to enhance Tianhe district's "one core, one belt, and two axes" spatial pattern and become a new quality productive force for Guangzhou.

The local authorities are said to be achieving this through innovative measures, including a multi-agency coordination task force, parallel review mechanisms, and on-site teams using tailored approaches.
Overall, the project is viewed as representing a practical example of efficient land use approvals in Guangzhou's ongoing urban development.
