Five companies from Tianhe district have been included in the 2025 Hurun Global Unicorn List: Kuro Game, Guangzhou Honest Dairy, Quwan Network Technology, XAG, and HeyGears.

Guangzhou has 24 unicorn companies on the 2025 list, ranking fourth in China and eleventh worldwide. After successful IPOs, WeRide and Pony.ai were removed from the list, while new entrants AscenPower and Quwan Network Technology were added.

Notably, SHEIN continues to be a top-10 global unicorn with a valuation of 365 billion yuan ($50.92 billion).
