GBA culture promotion association sets up in Tianhe
The 2025 Greater Bay Area Smart Cultural and Creative Week and a series of activities hosted by the Greater Bay Area Cultural and Creative Industry Promotion Association kicked off on June 11 at Guangzhou International Financial City in Tianhe district.
An announcement made during the event revealed that the Greater Bay Area Cultural and Creative Industry Promotion Association had settled within the financial city.
The association will focus on developing an AI and digital experimental zone in Guangzhou, as well as a digital cultural innovation zone. Efforts will be made in industrial services, investment attraction, and platform construction to build an ecosystem that supports cultural and creative industries throughout the entire value chain.

The Greater Bay Area Smart Cultural and Creative Week will organize a series of events, including cultural technology showcases, product releases, roadshows for cultural projects, and e-commerce live broadcasts.

By the end of 2024, Tianhe had 1,164 cultural enterprises above the designated size – an annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.78 million) or more – with their operating income totaling 226.63 billion yuan, accounting for 37.5 percent of Guangzhou's total.
