According to a recent announcement by the General Administration of Sport of China, the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games is scheduled for Nov 9 at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center in Guangzhou's Tianhe district.

The closing ceremony is set to take place on Nov 21 at the Happy Theater in Bao'an district of Shenzhen.

The opening ceremony's creative team relocated to the sports stadium of the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center on May 20, while the team for the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and 9th National Special Olympics Games moved into the Tianhe Sports Center.

Director Lang Kun stated, "We will create a safe, simple, and spectacular opening ceremony in Guangzhou."
