Tianhe financial city achieves progress in business promotion
Business promotion for the Guangzhou International Financial City, which is positioned as an international financial center and a hub for the integration and innovation of the digital economy in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, has been making steady progress thanks to efforts by the Tianhe Central Business District Management Committee.
With a planned floor area of about 8 square kilometers and a planned construction area of approximately 26 million sq m, the international financial city has entered a new phase of operation following top-out on Dec 31, 2024.
The start-up zone and eastern industrial plots within the financial city currently have a total of 58 industrial land parcels available for sale. Of them, 43 have already been sold with a total construction area of approximately 3.5 million sq m. There are 15 plots still waiting to be sold, with a combined construction area of around 2 million sq m.
In the financial city, 34 commercial buildings are ready for business operation, with 25 already actively seeking tenants, offering a total office space of more than 1.6 million sq m. The start-up zone mainly attracts businesses in the financial and digital sectors. Renowned digital gaming companies such as ZX, Inc, EWorld, and YOOZOO, as well as digital service and e-commerce platforms like Liepin and Kangaroo Mommy, have already set up operations there. Additionally, three buildings in the eastern zone have commenced leasing.
