Tianhe enhances UAE economic collaboration

Executive Deputy Head of Tianhe District, Huang Kaixuan, led a delegation on April 9 to visit the Dubai office of Intellisia Institute. The purpose was to enhance economic and trade collaboration with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and boost the global presence of Tianhe businesses.

Intellisia Institute is China's first social think tank to establish a presence in the Middle East. The office aims to provide comprehensive support for Chinese companies entering the Middle Eastern market.

Huang engaged in comprehensive discussions with Zhang Qianlin, the secretary-general of the Dubai office of the Intellisia Institute. The discussions centered on the establishment of communication channels between Tianhe and the UAE, enhancements in resource connectivity, and the facilitation of enterprises entering both Tianhe and international markets.

Zhang summarized the UAE's current economic status and investment prospects, emphasizing policy benefits and growth opportunities in artificial intelligence, the digital economy, and renewable energy sectors.

Huang stressed the significance of utilizing platforms like the Guangzhou International Financial City to facilitate communication and collaboration among domestic and international businesses and capital. He also underscored the importance of boosting internationalization efforts and expanding perspectives.

The unveiling of the Dubai branch of the Wushan-encircled (Overseas) Collaborative Innovation Center also took place on the same day.

This center will provide Tianhe enterprises with enhanced access to market information, investment opportunities, and partnerships in the UAE and the Middle East, facilitating their global expansion efforts. Furthermore, it's anticipated to draw top-tier enterprises and investments from the Middle East to Tianhe, promoting mutual economic growth.
