The 2025 World Athletics Relays – the premier international sporting event for top runners – will make its debut in China on May 10-11 at the revamped Tianhe Sports Center.

Featuring six events including men's and women's 4x100m relays, men's and women's 4x400m relays, and mixed-gender 4x100m and 4x400m relays, the competition is set to draw around 1,000 athletes from 50 countries and regions.

In addition, an array of events – including the Athletics Carnival – will take place at the southern square of the Tianhe Sports Center during the contest. These activities are designed to enhance the sports-watching experience of spectators and to generate a vibrant atmosphere for the upcoming 15th National Games.

Tickets for the competition are now on sale, with May 10 tickets priced at 280 yuan ($39), 180 yuan, 80 yuan, and 50 yuan. May 11 tickets are available at 580 yuan, 380 yuan, 180 yuan, and 80 yuan.

Fans can secure tickets through the official ticketing website of the 2025 World Athletics Relays or via authorized online platforms like ShowStart, Maoyan, and Damai. Additionally, from May 8 to 11, tickets can be purchased at the ticket booths at the Tianhe Sports Center.
