Tianhe incubation base boosts Greater Bay Area
To advance the progress of the Greater Bay Area into a new phase, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base – located in Tianhe district of Guangzhou – has rolled out a key set of initiatives.
Enterprises being funded from Hong Kong and Macao that choose to establish themselves in the incubation base are now entitled to a rent-free period lasting up to three years. That's followed by five years with rents that will be set below market rates.
At the base, a 2,000-square-meter product trial and production facility has been set up to provide free product trials and production services for innovation projects led by young Hong Kong and Macao people.

Inside the one-stop innovation and entrepreneurship service hub at the base, there are reception areas dedicated to government and third-party service agencies.
Skilled professionals are present on a weekly basis to offer legal consultations and to deliver entrepreneurship training services tailored to the needs of Hong Kong and Macao folks.
More than 210 entrepreneurial mentors – with over 40 hailing from Hong Kong and Macao – will support them in their entrepreneurial activities in the Greater Bay Area.
Additionally, the base has set up apartments specifically for those from the two regions – offering shared kitchens, fitness areas and other spaces, all conveniently located within a five-minute walk from the office buildings.
