Visitors to a facility in Tianhe district of Guangzhou are currently able to marvel at exquisite paintings on porcelain that are reminiscent of the world-famous Dunhuang murals, the ancient artworks that are located in caves in Northwest China's Gansu province.

The Millennial Artistry: Dunhuang on Porcelain artistic exhibition opened on Jan 11 at the Yuancun Workers Cultural Palace in Tianhe – bringing a cultural feast to citizens for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Drawing inspiration from the Dunhuang murals, the porcelain paintings skillfully employ high-temperature colored glazes to authentically capture the essence of Dunhuang mural art – evoking a timeless aura of antiquity and liberation.
