Tianhe exhibition celebrates sports, development
In Tianhe district of Guangzhou, a sports-themed exhibition is currently being held to celebrate the upcoming 15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games.
Scheduled to be jointly hosted by Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macao, these events are set to take place in December 2025.

Highlighting Tianhe's development over the last four decades, the exhibition displays the district's evolution since its establishment in 1985 through significant sports events like the 6th National Games in 1987, the 9th National Games in 2001 and the 16th Asian Games in 2010.
It also looks ahead to the opportunities that will be brought by the upcoming 15th National Games.

The exhibition features a collection of 62 pieces or sets of exhibits, taking visitors on a journey to explore how Tianhe has utilized the energy of sports events to create a remarkable chapter in its history.
It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 5 pm, on the third-floor exhibition hall of the Tianhe District Cultural and Art Center.
