The Suhe Independent Art Park branch of the Tianhe District Library was recently selected as part of the 2024 "New Public Cultural Space Demonstration Projects" in Guangzhou – capital city of South China's Guangdong province.

The recognition is said to highlight the branch's innovative approach to public cultural engagement and its unique blend of architectural heritage and modern design.

Located at No 133 Yanling Road, the Suhe Independent Art Park has retained the distinctive architectural style of the previous old factory while incorporating modern design elements, creating an atmosphere where nostalgia meets art.

The library branch, surrounded by greenery, has a floor space of over 1,000 square meters. It boasts multiple functional areas, including an exhibition hall, a book collection zone and a reading area – offering visitors a comfortable reading environment and a diverse cultural experience.

With a collection of over 10,000 books, the library can cater to the reading needs of all age groups. Since its opening to the public in June 2023, it's become a popular spot for locals seeking a place for reading and leisure.
