Global leading laser sensor maker lands in Tianhe
Shanghai-based Hesai Technology, the world's largest maker of laser sensors for electric cars, settled its Guangzhou branch in Tianhe district, with the opening ceremony held at the Heli Tiande Plaza on Oct 9.

Hesai Technology integrates the manufacturing process of laser radar into the research, development, and design process to promote rapid product iteration while ensuring its high performance, reliability, and low cost.
Its products have been widely applied in passenger and commercial vehicles, supporting advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, unmanned delivery vehicles, and automatic guided vehicles.
It has also set up offices in Shanghai, Silicon Valley in the United States, and Stuttgart in Germany, with its clients in more than 40 countries and regions worldwide.
Yao Peng, general manager of the Guangzhou company, said at the opening ceremony that the comprehensive competitive advantages of Tianhe in the fields of science and technology, talent, and industry are prominent, which is an important reason why Hesai chose to land here.
In the future, Hesai Technology will make full use of its industrial advantages and Tianhe's high-quality business environment, accelerate the expansion of businesses, and become an essential part of Guangzhou's new energy vehicle and intelligent driving industrial chains as soon as possible, Yao added.
