The Guangzhou leg of the 2024 Guangdong Provincial Junior Tennis Ranking Tournament took place at the Tianhe Sports Center in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on Oct 1-2.

This event featured four main categories, namely men's singles, women's singles, men's, and women's doubles, with age groups set at 10, 12, 14, and 16 years old. It attracted over 1,000 participants, setting a new record for registrations in the junior tennis ranking tournament.

In recent years, Tianhe district has actively promoted the deep integration of sports and education, as well as the joint operation of district sports teams and schools, which have facilitated a comprehensive improvement in the sports literacy of young people and provided strong support for the popularization and development of sports such as tennis in schools.

The junior tennis ranking tournament is being hosted by the Guangdong Tennis Association and the Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Economic and Trade Development.
