100+ activities enrich festive fun in Tianhe
This year's Guangzhou International Shopping Festival is scheduled to raise its curtain on Sept 29, just before the week-long National Day holiday starting Oct 1.
Over 100 activities will be launched by 30 commercial carriers in Tianhe district, the shopping festival's main venue. Some will be French-themed in celebration of the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations.

At the Grandview Plaza, a lavender field landscape from Provence has been set up at the northern square and will stay there until Dec 31. The art market, held from Sept 20 to Jan 2, 2025, offers visitors a unique way to experience the French-style street, with giant artistic sculptures, French food, and European-style floral design.
Classic scenes from comics by famous Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito will be shown at the plaza from Oct 25 to Nov 24, providing an immersive experience to visitors.
An artistic flower-themed exhibition will showcase China's beauty to Teemall visitors until Oct 7, and a medieval fair will be held from Nov 22-24.

A golden forest garden, created by famous international designer Stefan Beckman over the course of 3,000 hours, will be displayed at the Guangzhou K11 Art Mall from Nov 1 to Jan 3, 2025. Meanwhile, the world flavor culture festival from Oct 1 to Nov 3 will surely be a treat for your taste buds.
Since Sept 27, the Link Plaza has been holding a night market every Friday to Sunday, displaying exquisite handiworks and gourmet foods.
To enrich the festive fun, TaiKoo Hui is set to hold a Black Pearl food market on Oct 1-3, and a cocktail bazaar from Nov 15-17. The illustration art festival, scheduled to take place from Oct 18 to Nov 17, will feature over 10 renowned domestic and international illustrators to showcase the integration of illustration art with local life.
The Haixinsha Boutique Coffee Culture and Art Festival will showcase Guangzhou's catering culture through coffee displays, artistic cultural exhibitions, and industry exchange meetings on Oct 18-20.
