The Shunde cooperative hospital of Guangdong Orthopedics Hospital was unveiled at the Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University on Aug 27.

Guangdong Orthopedics Hospital, also known as the Southern Medical University Third Hospital, is located in Tianhe district of Guangzhou. It is a third-grade hospital, which ranks at the top of China's three-tier hospital grading system, and integrates medical treatment, scientific research, and teaching.

Based on the Shunde cooperative hospital, the Guangdong Orthopedics Hospital and the Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University will conduct more cooperation in medical technology, academic exchanges, and personnel training to bring more high-quality medical resources from Guangzhou to the public in Foshan.

"The partnership is also an important measure for advancing graded diagnosis and treatment as well as deepening medical reform," said Shen Jie, director of the Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University.

Li Cheng, head of the Guangdong Orthopedics Hospital, expressed his hopes that the in-depth cooperation between the sides will expand the brand effect of Southern Medical University.
