This year's metaverse concert is scheduled to take place at the Haixinsha Asian Games Park in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on Aug 2.

As one of the important highlights of the 2024 China Digital Entertainment Conference, also taking place in the district on the same day, the concert is set to allow visitors the chance to feel the charms brought by the combination of metaverse with the trending art.

Based on last year's event, this year's concert is set to display a variety of new and upgraded metaverse technologies like holographic technology, metaverse space interaction, and trendy digital collections.

More than 20 popular singers and bands, including Laure Shang (Shang Wenjie), are expected to give their wonderful performances at the concert.

Adding to the excitement, the concert is poised to feature the virtual presence of legendary singers like Teresa Teng (1953-95), Leslie Cheung (1956-2003), and the Beyond band. These icons are expected to interact with live singers, providing visitors with a truly unforgettable experience.
