The construction planning permit for the Guangdan Fire Station in Tianhe district was recently issued by the bureau of planning and natural resources of Guangzhou – the capital of South China's Guangdong province.

The facility will be on a site covering 4,753 square meters and have a combined floor space on a number of levels of about 8,000 sq m, making it the largest fire station in the district.

The fire station will be located in Tianhe Intelligence Valley, adjacent to the main roads leading to the Guangzhou North Ring Expressway, Jianming Sixth Road, and Chebei Road.

It is expected to greatly improve the response ability of fire rescue teams to deal with all kinds of emergencies.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of the year.
