A banquet that took place on June 30 in Shipai village – located in the middle of Tianhe district of Guangzhou city, the capital of South China's Guangdong province – marked the close of the dragon boat season there.

Funded by the local property company Shipai Sanjun Enterprise Group, the dragon boat banquet hosted nearly 10,000 people from in and outside Shipai.
