The 2024 Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament was held on the Pearl River on June 16 – with 111 teams and some 4,000 players fighting it out for the titles.

Of the teams, 19 hailed from countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan – and also from China's Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.
