Children help construct new garden in Guangzhou
Children are helping build a new garden in Guangzhou, with construction kicking off at the city's Sanyuanli Street National Juvenile Protection Base on May 26.
The garden was designed by the team of Associate Professor Tang Hui from the College of Forestry and Landscape Architecture of the South China Agricultural University, and children are encouraged to participate in its construction, a first for the city.
That day, more than 20 students from the Sanyuanli neighborhood, with the guidance of students from the South China Agricultural University, used plants, flowers, and colored glass bottles to create a flower border that reflects the concept of environmental protection.
