Various dragon boat activities have been scheduled in Guangzhou's Tianhe district for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, which this year falls on June 10.

A dragon boat race, with boats from Guangzhou's Huangpu, Haizhu, and Panyu districts, Foshan's Nanhai district, and the villages of Tianhe district, will take place on Liede River on June 10, while the Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament will be held on June 16.

On Shenchong River, the Huangcun neighborhood is set to launch a dragon boat race on June 6-7, including boats from outside of the region.

Zhuji neighborhood's dragon boat race will take place on June 6 on the right branch of the Shenchong River, and Chebei neighborhood's race will be carried out on June 8.

On June 6-10, the Tianhe south neighborhood will launch a series of dragon boat activities on the Pearl River Channel, the Qianjin neighborhood's will take place on the Huanxi River, while the Shipai neighborhood's race will happen on the Shipai section of Liede River.

The Tianhe District Standard Dragon Boat Invitational Competition is scheduled to take place on June 29 on the inner channel of Haixinsha Asian Games Park.
